FINALLY MADE THE DESICISON/ HOW TO START A CLOTHING LINE IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS

OMEE 1
Wassup Hommies, so sorry for the lack of posts. I’ve been terribly busy for last few weeks weeks, don’t worry this post will explain better. So after enough razzle dazzle this year, I’ve finally decided to start up a clothing line.I don’t know if you’ve ever gotten this feeling that you picture yourself in an amazing outfit but you don’t really know where to get it from and the stores around don’t seem to be of much help.yep that feeling, It happens to me all to the time.So I decided to bring my imaginations to life by starting up my own clothing line.I’m going to take you through the process which I managed to summarize into just FOUR PHASES.

HOW TO START A CLOTHING LINE IN LESS THAN TO WEEKS

1) IMAGINE AND DRAW

Everything you see out there was once somebody’s dream and every great invention ever created by man was once just a drawing on a piece of paper.Things really look much easier on a piece of paper. After imagining, I decided to put what I saw myself and other people wearing on a piece of paper. That’s the first step

2) SHOP FOR FABRICS

After drawing my dream outfits, I went shopping for the fabrics I felt would be most suitable for them. This step was probably the easiest

3) TAILORING

This is the most technical phase because your clothes has to be exactly what you imagined or even better. If you can sew, this should be easier for you.I couldn’t sew, so I had to get a tailor and It was not easy transferring my ideas into another brain. But I thank God we made progress

4) CREATE A LOOKBOOK.

For those of you who don’t know what a lookbook is,It’s a collection of photographs compiled to advertise a fashion line. While this may seem to be the fun part of everything, for me it’s rather scary because there’s always that fear of the pictures not coming out well after the shoot, and the feeling of “Oh, I should have used a different background or a different pose” e.t.c
It wasn’t easy though but I thank God I still manage to jump the final hurdle.

That’s it hommies, four easy steps in starting a clothing line
