Wassup Hommies, so sorry for the lack of posts. I’ve been terribly busy for last few weeks weeks, don’t worry this post will explain better. So after enough razzle dazzle this year, I’ve finally decided to start up a clothing line.I don’t know if you’ve ever gotten this feeling that you picture yourself in an amazing outfit but you don’t really know where to get it from and the stores around don’t seem to be of much help.yep that feeling, It happens to me all to the time.So I decided to bring my imaginations to life by starting up my own clothing line.I’m going to take you through the process which I managed to summarize into just FOUR PHASES.
HOW TO START A CLOTHING LINE IN LESS THAN TO WEEKS
1) IMAGINE AND DRAW
Everything you see out there was once somebody’s dream and every great invention ever created by man was once just a drawing on a piece of paper.Things really look much easier on a piece of paper. After imagining, I decided to put what I saw myself and other people wearing on a piece of paper. That’s the first step
This is the most technical phase because your clothes has to be exactly what you imagined or even better. If you can sew, this should be easier for you.I couldn’t sew, so I had to get a tailor and It was not easy transferring my ideas into another brain. But I thank God we made progress
4) CREATE A LOOKBOOK.
For those of you who don’t know what a lookbook is,It’s a collection of photographs compiled to advertise a fashion line. While this may seem to be the fun part of everything, for me it’s rather scary because there’s always that fear of the pictures not coming out well after the shoot, and the feeling of “Oh, I should have used a different background or a different pose” e.t.c
It wasn’t easy though but I thank God I still manage to jump the final hurdle.
That’s it hommies, four easy steps in starting a clothing line
UP NEXT —————-) MY LOOKBOOK 🙂
I spent hours moving from wall to wall in search for a cool backdrop with maybe some grafitti for this streetstyle post. After enough wandering and disappointments in the streets of warri,I later ended up using a plane wall.
IF you are in that part of the world where summer is long gone and It’s really cold coz you’re getting to winter and all. Then my hommie, you are sooo damn lucky. In Nigeria, we have what I’ll like to call a “never ending sun” it shines from january to december till the end of days. Some of you might think it’s cool and all but trust me, you don’t wanna be under this one, It literally fries your brain. And with the recent ban of bikes which happens to be the major local means of transport in warri, Movement can bit pretty much hard for those of us who can’t drive. One thing I love about fashion is that it takes advantage of every weather situation whether hot or cold.Tank tops and shorts are all what I’ve been wearing lately coz I’ve been doing a lot of trekking since the ‘No bike era’ in the city of Warri.
With my ear piece stuck in my ears and my blackberry on my sweaty paws, I don’t think I have much of a problem

I Should have done this post a long time ago,but we all know procastination is a bitch.I’m serious she kills faster than AIDS or any other deadly disease.Thank God I finally did it.Well, it’s nothing much though, just a small outfit I wore few days ago.I’m not gonna lie I’ve totally forgotten what I want to say about this outfit. But one thing is sure, I definitely LOVED THE SHORTS 🙂
BOW TIE AND SHORTS BY AMY’S ROBE
SHIRT BY MARCS AND SPENCER
GLASSES BY FENDI
BY THE WAY, I JUST UPDATED MY ABOUT PAGE PLEASE DO CHECK IT OUT….THANKS
few weeks ago, I was at a “xtratyme” bar in Warri.Don’t worry I wasn’t drinking, I just went there to see a model friend of mine. After alot of gisting I decided to use my xtratyme to take some pics.Don’t be so suprised that some of the most awlward places can actually turn out to be the best spots for pictures.
We’ve all had that favourite trend that we just couldn’t drop so easily. For me it’s definitely the african prints(ankara),I’m officialy an addict and I just can’t keep my hands off them.Amy made this outfit and my sticky fingers couldn’t just let them be. I wore the outfit to a friend’s cousins marriage and it felt so awesome.Trust me if there’s anything I love more than wearing a nice outfit, It’ll be wearing it to a nice occasion.

Remember when I said I was so happy turning 18 because of the priviliges that comes with it? well driving happens to be one of them.I decided to join the league of teenage drivers but I was so unlucky that it didn’t end so well.
Don’t worry I did not die, Let me tell you how it happened.I started my driving lessons few weeks ago and it ended that same day. After driving around my compound a couple of times my teacher/brother said if could enter inbetween one pair of those parking lines safely I’m done for the day.
I did it and it felt too easy so I decided to go in all six one after the other which I also succedded.Infact it felt way easier that I was suddenly feeling like an expert already. so Mr smarty pants(me) decided to move over to the garege which is more complicated with pillars and has just three spaces.
I entered the Ist safely, came out and did the same to the second. At this moment i felt fulfilled that I learnt how to drive in just one day. With a joyous heart I went into the 3rd space, just when I was in my happy moment thinking of how to break the news to my buddies and also thinking of the Ist chick I’m gonna pickup with my ride, BAM!!! I forgot to hit the breaks and I ran into a cupboard close to the wall.
so much for victorious learning.
The saddest part of the story is that my dad hasn’t found out yet, Heaven help me when he does coz it’s actually his very 1st car.Have you ever been in a similar situation before? please I could really use some advice. To think that I was actually very good at this.Well, no more driving for me for very long time. I might just end up like bryanboy who still doesn’t know how to drive at the age of 27.
I normally don’t wear natives except for occasions where it is necessary. But after seeing those pieces from Yomi Casuals I was so inspired that I felt like wearing natives everyday for the rest of my life.I dug this native outfit out of my closet, T wore it just for an occasion two years ago and abandoned it ever since.Thank God I never lost it because I just realized how amazing it is.God bless you once again Yomi…
